Hello,

Let me start first by introducing myself to you properly. I am Mr. Samuel Coker, an accountant in the Federal Ministry of Power and Steel, Lagos, Nigeria. My group in the ministry is interested in large scale importation and investment in your country. The Proposition Based on the recommendations of two reputable firms, namely, Ferrostall AG of Germany and Reynolds International of the United States of America, the federal government of Nigeria established the Aluminum Smelting Company of Nigerian Ltd (ALUSCON) at Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. This is a multi million US dollars project which uses the over 40 billion cubic feet of natural gas which were hitherto wasted annually through gas flaring. The company produces aluminum ingots and billets which are exported to earn foreign exchange for Nigeria. During the construction stage of the project, the Ministry of Power and Steel revalued the contract from USD 638 MILLION to USD 760 MILLION. This revaluation was carried out at the instance of Ferostall Ag which was the General contractor and Reynolds International the project consultants. The late head of state of Nigeria General Sanni Abacha also gave instruction for the revaluation. This was done and the ministry immediately paid the contractors and the consultants the sum agreed. The project has since been completed and production has equally started at the company. It is unfortunate that the sum of thirty one million US dollars (USD 31 Million) which is part of the revaluation and which is meant for my group is stalked in the ministry's account in a European prime bank.

We had agreed to take it out in December 1998 but unfortunately the then head of state, Gen. Sanni Abacha dropped dead in June of the same year. Ever since then the money has been floating in the ministry's account with the bank. I have therefore been mandated by my group to look for a reputable firm or an individual who will stand as the beneficiary of the funds, so that we can re- transfer it from the European Bank. My ministry has resolved with the office of the President of Nigeria all issues regarding the contract revaluation, and they are satisfied with our explanation. Furthermore, the transfer will be handled through the bank's online internet banking. It is fast and can be concluded within 2 days of commencement of the process. If you are capable and willing to participate in this transaction contact me through my email address. By virtue of my position as a civil servant and a Nigerian I can not acquire this fund in my name, hence the need to contact a foreigner. I wait for your response through my alternative email. Regards, Samuel Coker

For your information, I have made all the necessary arrangements to start and smoothly conclude the transaction. All I need from you is your consent. If this is settled, please go on and furnish me with the account information where you want to receive the money. Samuel. Sam.

I was away on a business trip - as I told you. Therefore my late reply. I made a quick deal over in Italy and made some bucks selling of some containers of old Uncut-CD:s. These sort of quick and prosperous deals keep me alive and kicking. I am sure you can understand this as you are also into business and transactions. I will be able to go through with this in last week when I do not have that many appointments. However, you should have by now understood my deep concern in helping you in any way possible. You should also have understood that I am a businessman that can't be fooled in any way. The ones that try to fool me - I crush. But Samuel, since I can trust you, this should be no problem to you. I am glad you congratulate the Swiss Bank. This is one of the reasons I operate from this small but charming country. I am aware of how the banking-rituals is working and have many contacts at almost every bank here so this should be of no problem to us. Should I put up a number-account here in Switzerland? These sort of account doesn't need a owner of the account and anyone who knows the number can put in or withdraw money from the specified account. I think this should be for the best of us. I suggest we operate quickly as the Russian mafia is on my tails,

Samuel,

I don't hear from you. What are you up to? You aren't doing deals with other people, are you? Right now I am on Iceland to buy wood. Wood is one of my most dear interests. When we meet, after the deal, I will introduce you to the art of wood. We will laugh and drink cognac. It will be great fun. I talked to my lawyer the other day and he told me that there might be more costs than planned involved in the Deal; bribes, costs for opening accounts and other sorts of costs to make this transfer possible - is this so? I don't have a problem with it but I must know since I might have to sell some stocks or so.

Yours sincerely, David S Gremault!

Hello David,

thanks for your mail. I was putting all the arrangements together to ensure quick completion of the deal. But I have not received your phone number and you have not called me either. We ought to be in constant communication with one another you dont need to worry on what you attorney told you, I have done most of the money spending and if it is any thing that matters about money here, by the grace of God, I am capable to do it, but I need your support and understanding and as well as your full attention to the transaction. I am interested in the investment as you know it better than I.

Please answer me Samuel.

I tried to call you Samuel but it was not possible to come through. There was no answer. Just tell me what you need from me just this instant. I have put up an account in a bank I have never used before - just for this purpose, I think it will be for the best. Do you need this account-number? I have found some great investment-oppurtunitys too! Jocke Heineman (famous entrepeneur in food and beverages) is opening a place at Biblioteksgatan (old Sophies or Biblos or something). That's a good investment. Then we have thousands of other things we can do.

But Samuel, we must act now. Is there anything you will need from me except the accountnumber. When the money is on the account we will meet and it will be fun. We can meet on my ship and eat some food, if you like food. Get back to me.

Mr Coker,

Great news! I have the account number at my office in town. I will go there first thing monday morning and get it from my secretary. Then we will do this. Help is near - no fear. What are your weekends like in Nigeria? Do they have the club Mettan (Metropolis) in Nigeria? I feel the bond between us are growing. I can feel us becoming friends. Can you feel it to Samuel? Just as in that movie Message in a bottle with Kevin Costner. It's about two people becoming friends without meeting! Sleepless in Seattle is also a movie based on that. On this. We will rent them when we meet if you haven't seen them. Isn't it cool that one can become such good friends without meeting? I heard the advertising agency Paradiset was founded just in this way! Two guys fooling around, sending messages. Maybe we will invest some of the money in our own comapny? Coker And Friends. What do you think? Get back to me so that I know that you are well. Tell me something. About your life. About your family. About your business. Monday we do business. Get well soon,
